Coronavirus Update
We at Charles Street Dental Surgery would like to send a big thank you to our patients for your patience throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, and your continued understanding.
Though COVID might seem like a distant memory for many, it is still around, so we do still need to take certain precautions.
Your health and safety are of the utmost importance to us, and we have always taken steps to minimise the risk of cross infection.
Upon booking an appointment, you will be asked a series of questions regarding the Coronavirus, and we will also ask if there are any changes to your medical history. These will be double checked by the dentist during your appointment, to make sure your circumstances have not changed.
What you can do
To provide the best care for you, and to keep our staff safe, we ask you kindly to work with us, by taking the following steps.
- Please do not arrive at the surgery without an appointment.
- Do not attend your appointment if:
- you or someone you live with develop symptoms of Coronavirus. These symptoms include: a new and continuous cough, loss of taste and/or smell, high temperature, new onset loss of appetite, a sore throat, and diarrhoea.
- Or you have been asked to self-isolate.
- Social distancing may have ended, but please respect people’s space.
- We are trying to minimise patients waiting in reception, so please try not to arrive to your appointment too early and arrive on time.
- If possible, please use a debit or credit card to pay for your treatment rather than cash.
What if you have coronavirus and have a dental emergency?
Please call the practice and we will discuss how we can help.
We thank you all for your continued support and look forward to seeing you at your appointment.
Kind Regards
Charles Street Dental Surgery
